Purplemango

When we started Purplemango, back in 2009 we had no idea what we were getting into. The strategies, the ideas, the learning, the experience: we built that over time with incredible clients who trusted us.

Reuben can sense the pulse of a business from the first client conversation.

He builds game plans for every project and breaks it into delectable, design tasks.

Excel sheets, client meets, strategy discussions, biryani concussions, financial wizard, lie-detector lizard: Reuben is Purplemango’s go-to man to get things done. Our complex, calorie calculator who is admired, feared, loved and revered in equal measure.

Reshma Thomas

We work with a dynamic team of passionate creators. Some joined us this year and some have been around for seven years. Everyone who’s been with us, has added to Purplemango in an incredible way. We are grateful for the team we have and for everyone who’s been a part of this journey with us. Go Mango!

FUQ’s: Frequently Unasked Questions

Do you have a design process?
Yes and No.
Yes if you're the kind of client who is into processes, processing and processors.
No if you're the kind of client who thinks creative work needs to be kept out of straight-jackets.
How many options will you give us?
Having a 100 coffee options has not made it easier to choose the right Cuppa.
Having said that, we understand the importance of choice. So we'll give you options that work for you. Let's just agree to not put a number on it.
Why the name Purplemango?
The name just came to us and we thought it was really cool until we discovered a bunch of other agencies with random Fruit+Colour combinations.
What has been your biggest learning so far?
Most things get better with time. Design skills, business strategies, pickle and relationships.
Are you worried about run out of ideas?
We've invested in a 5000 MHZ idea generating machine so that should keep us going for a while.
What is your biggest success?
To peek outside the window and watch our people leaving for the day. They stand at the gate, laugh a little more, chat a little longer and walk away smiling. They don't rush back home from work. We’d like to believe we've made a Happy place for them.
What is your success Mantra?
Honest design = Happy clients
Why are most of your clients corporate companies?
It wasn't a deliberate decision. They chose us and we're glad that they did.
More importantly, they pay us well.
